New Look!

Hello Friends,
This blog was started in order to share a new journey that God was beginning in the midst of our ongoing walk with Him; the walk we call life. I chose to blog because I knew journaling was an excellent way to reflect but I am physically opposed to sitting with paper and pencil...I suffer from writer's block. However, I love to type, my preferred medium, maybe because I'm fast at it but mainly because I speak/write before I think so this way I can edit!! I find typing faster, easier to change, and more enjoyable with uploaded pictures! While it seems rather public for some, it is fitting to my personality of being real and open with just about anyone who would lend me an ear. I acknowledge that you are not captive here but it is my hope that you would chose to come listen and walk away better for it, or at least entertained!

So many of you have asked for more Costa Rica stories, which will be peppered into the new format but it's been a desire to share our day-to-day missions and just down right daily stuff with each of you. Not all of us are able to load up and head out to do international missions and quite frankly we know God works everywhere, which leaves us with so much more to talk about. From Motherhood to Friendships, Spiritual Disciplines to Marriage, Dinner to Driving, Tears to Cheers. He's in it all and there is something to be learned about God through it all. I know you'll help me figure it out, laugh at the good times, cry at the difficult times, and pray about all times!

So welcome to a new format or expanded format. I love consistency so it pains me to not share consistently but my highest callings are God, Family, Service. So when I can, and as I'm lead, so as not to bring attention to us but yet to our Father through us, I will meet you here!

As you hear from me: The Queen of the Castle (there is a story there) I will refer to the sweet members in our brood. Pictured here with me is my wonderful husband and our fearless leader, referred to as Hubby!

We have four absolutely wonderful children who you can meet below:

My Manboy

Helping Hand

Classy Clown

and The Baby (as he is commonly and sometimes with a tinge of jealousy referred to).

We look forward to sharing with you how God has chosen a family and how we are responding to Him in our day to day walk. May you come to know Him better along side of us.

The Johnsons
